By accessing or using GenSermon ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including church administrators and staff members.
GenSermon is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that assists churches and ministry organizations with sermon content processing, transcription, and distribution. The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate sermon summaries, social media content, discussion questions, and other ministry materials from audio or video recordings.
The Service is intended for authorized church staff and ministry organizations. By creating an account, you represent that you are authorized to act on behalf of your organization. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
GenSermon offers paid subscription plans. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method on a recurring basis. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your billing settings, and your access will continue through the end of your current billing period.
Trial accounts are limited to three (3) processed sermons. After the trial limit is reached, a paid subscription is required to continue using the Service.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including sermon recordings and transcripts. By uploading content, you grant GenSermon a limited license to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
AI-generated content produced by the Service (summaries, social posts, discussion questions, etc.) is provided for your use and you may use it freely for your ministry purposes. GenSermon does not claim ownership of this generated content.
The GenSermon platform, software, and branding are the intellectual property of GenSermon and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate content based on sermon transcripts. AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving all generated content before publishing or distributing it. GenSermon is not responsible for any AI-generated content that is inaccurate, theologically incorrect, or otherwise unsuitable for your ministry.
The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Google (YouTube, Gmail), Planning Center Online, AssemblyAI, and Stripe. Your use of these integrations is also subject to the respective terms of service of those platforms. GenSermon is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GenSermon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, content, or ministry opportunities. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to perform maintenance, updates, or modifications at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime in advance.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease and your data may be deleted in accordance with our data retention policies.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Georgia.
